HYDRUS Ltd was established in Cyprus in the year 1987 as a limited range pump manufacturer and exporter.
Through constant technological development and strategic investments it has today become a major manufacturer and exporter of a very wide range of pumping equipment and generating sets.
Another important development has been in the field of research and development. Since the year 2000 HYDRUS Ltd highly qualified and educated engineers are heavily involved in research activities in the areas of fluid dynamics, pumps and turbomachinery. This research work is funded by the EU and by the Cyprus Research Promotion Foundation. The research projects make it possible for us to further improve and fine tune our high quality products and services.

NEWS BRIEF
Following an investment in a new rapid prototyping machine and a 3D laser scanner in 2008, we have further invested in the beginning of 2009 over €50,000 in the purchase of one of the leading softwares in the field of computational fluid dynamics (CFD) and in the development of customized computational codes for hydrodynamic design.
HYDRUS is now one of the few companies in the world to have such advanced computational design and research capabilities in the area of pumps and fluid dynamics, and this will help us in extending our research in this field and in further improving our products and services to our customers.
